About Old Town Hall and the Astronomical Clock
The Old Town Hall was established in 1338 as the seat of the Old Town’s administration. Its oldest part is the Gothic tower with a bay chapel and the medieval astronomical clock, the orloj, where the twelve apostles appear every hour between 8am and 11pm. The visitor tour takes in the tower, the chapel, the state rooms and the underground; a new lift climbs the tower. Run by Prague City Tourism.
